GO Transit will not be providing any train or bus service from its Pickering station from May 3 to 5 to do maintenance and upgrade work. You won’t be able to take the GO train or bus into or back from Toronto along the Lakeshore East line from the Pickering GO station late Friday evening, May 3, until late Sunday, May 5.
From Pickering GO station, there will be TTC bus service available into and back from Union Station.
Replacement express GO bus service will be available from Durham College Oshawa GO station, Whitby GO station, Ajax GO, and Pickering GO stations for connection to the Union GO bus terminal.
Metrolinx, which operates GO train service, is performing maintenance and key updates on the tracks. It can only do the work when the trains aren’t running.
In addition, from Friday until Sunday, a portion of the Pickering GO west parking lot will be closed off as the area will be used to store construction equipment for the maintenance work.
